The<br>main activity will be a Photo Scavenger Hunt on Vancouver transit where youth will learn how to<br>navigate the routes of the city including buses, sky trains and sea buses while seeing the<br>beautiful sites of the area. After the Photo Scavenger Hunt, the youth will continue to learn<br>about living green including urban gardening techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Schedule of Events<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>10am \u2013 11am<\/td><td>Registration for Photo Scavenger Hunt<br>Instructions for navigating city transit<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>11am -12pm<\/td><td>Groups of 10 youth and 2 leaders are sent of in four separate waves<br>with photo scavenger lists that include different destinations<br>Bagged lunch and Compass cards for transit will be provided<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>3pm<\/td><td>All groups must be back at the church by 3pm<br>Check in with registraton when they return to the chapel to ensure<br>the required photos were taken<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>3pm-4pm<\/td><td>Hive Mind<br>Discussion on using transit<br>Urban Gardening<br>Sports in the park<br>Video on living green<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>4pm<\/td><td>Dinner \u2013 chilli<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>5pm<\/td><td>Pickup<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each ward must send two leaders for every ten youth. There are many opportunities for<br>additional leaders and parents to volunteer. Please complete the survey to sign up for assigned<br>tasks.<br>All related expenses to riding city transit will be covered for both youth and leaders. If youth<br>have Compass monthly passes, they are welcome to bring them.<br>In the interest of reducing our carbon footprint, we ask that everyone come with their own<br>water bottles and backpacks to carry their lunches on transit.
