Wow, I suck at writing emails. A few people are thus mad at me..
Transfer 1 is now complete and I’m half way through Transfer 2.
I am still at Churchville YSA in Etobicoke, a smaller part of the Greater Toronto Are(GTA) with my trainer, Elder Ellingson which is super lucky! I will likely still be here next transfer too.
A lot has happend since my last email.. I won’t write about everything now as that would take many moons to go over. I will focus on the main, bigger, important events/experiences that I’ve been blessed with over the past couple of months.
Christmas!
Christmas was on a Pday which was cool! My companion, Elder Ellingson and I spent all day at members’ homes, we had good meals and played games!
Mom ordered dinner for comp and I all the way from home which was great. I thank all those who sent me gifts and wishes and wish all the same to you! Merry Christmas!
New Year!
2025 will be my only full January 1-January 1 year of my mission. There will be much to learn and experience. We’ll see how long I last….
But looking back, 2024 was a really great year for me, many good things happened and it’s all led to a good start to a mission. So I am looking forward to this year!
A day at the mission home.
The mission home is where the Mission President and his Wife live. They will often invite a zone of missionaries to spend a Pday at their house where we get food and play games and mess around. This Mission home was built when Elder M. Russell Ballard was mission president here. Pretty cool!
Mission Conference!
Mission Conference is a great time! All the missionaries gather at the Brampton Stake Center in Brampton! over 200 missionaries from all over Ontario come together to socialize and be chastized. This mission is good. last year the CTM baptized 1101 people! That many people entered the fold of God and entered into a covenant relationship with him. Our new goal for this year is 1559+1 bapisms! Seems impossible! But the Lord is hastening his work, and there are miracles at play.
I have become a grandmaster at chess. There are a few elders I have yet to beat tho… I’ll have to keep practicing.

If you desire to grow your connection to our Heavenly Father, let that desire work in you. It will change your life. You will see greater things occur in your life than you could ever expect.
This is something that I am continuing to learn and what I have learned most in the last 2+1/2 months that I have been a missionary and something that I wish to share now with all those who will read through my whole email.
as this is now the end of my “weekly” email, I Pray that it may be enough for those who have anxiously awaited to hear from me. Until next time, I hope you will be well, it may be another couple of months until I feel once again obligated to write an email.
